Shop Small and Win Big with the White Mountain Independents

It’s that time of year again!

Shop SmallThroughout Thanksgiving Weekend, November 23-26, the White Mountain Independents will once again be celebrating Plaid Friday and Small Business Saturday and, new this year, shoppers can play along with the Shop Small and Win Big Game, which lasts all weekend into Monday. Everything is easy – simply follow the blue flags!

Shop Small and Win Big is a new game designed to help shoppers shift their shopping to local, independent choices. Shoppers will receive a stamp on the individual businesses following a purchase. Those who get five stamps will be entered into the prize drawing. Shoppers who get more than five stamps will be entered again for each additional stamp. When completed, the WMI Shop Small and Win Big Board Game can be turned in to any of the WMI retail shops. Winners will be announced on Saturday, December 1.

“We wanted to add some fun to the weekend while encouraging people to venture into a new store or two,” said Deb Jasien, owner of Fields of Ambrosia and president of the White Mountain Independents. “People can go to their top five favorite stores, or they can branch out and check out something new. And they have all weekend to do it with absolutely no pressure!”

Game boards will also be available in The Conway Daily Sun on Saturday November 17, Tuesday, November 20 and Friday, November23.
